SUNSHINE HERE MAKES A NICE CHANGE
It’s still been chilly this week, and windy, and we had a few flurries of snow on Thursday, but the sun has been shining sometimes and it makes all the difference! Of course, as I am writing this the grey clouds are coming over and it is probably going to rain, but at least the day started with blue skies.

WEEK STARTED THERE AND ENDED HERE
Last Saturday I was in the wilds of the beautiful Scottish countryside, and this Saturday I am posting from home again.
Spring is still trying to arrive here and it’s not having much help from the weather. Since I got back home on Tuesday evening we’ve had rain, wind, overnight frosts, one beautiful sunny afternoon and more rain.
The snowdrops are still looking lovely and I have one lone daffodil in bloom. Actually, that’s not exactly true – there is one lone daffodil in the flowerbeds, but my tub of miniature daffodils is looking good.
It has been pouring all morning but now the sun is shining, so I rushed out and took a quick photo of the mini daffs.

There is a strange bright light in the sky this afternoon.
People are walking around without umbrellas and waterproof jackets.
The rivers of water have stopped coursing down the sides of the roads and puddles are vanishing.
My webbed feet are subsiding a little…
What could it be? Oh yes… I remember now…
