I used to be indecisive…

…but now I'm not so sure

weekly photo challenge: thankful

Here is something I am very thankful for –

I couldn’t imagine life without a laptop now!

(I still find it odd that it looks it’s upside down when the lid is closed.)

  1. I’m a bit like that with the brand new interactive whiteboard I have in my classroom this year. I’ve never had one before and now I don’t know how I ever taught without it. We do the most amazing things with it.

    • Interactive whiteboards are fantastic – when they work! Or, when you can see them (usually on a dull day, when the light from the windows is not reflecting off it). They are so clever, but sometimes I long for good old blackboard and chalk. 😦

      • I have the best of both worlds – my interactive whiteboard in the middle, which works beautifully and it’s non reflective, a small blackboard on the right and a large ordinary whiteboard on the left. We use all three all the time too. It’s great.

        • Lucky you! All of our blackboards were removed – I haven’t seem one for years! Most classes that I’ve been into in the last few years have a smartboard (what we call the interactive whiteboard), a fixed wall whiteboard and/or a small(ish) free standing whiteboard to use when the smartboard loses the plot.

  2. I love the colour of your Toshiba. I bought my wife a pink laptop. Two months ago mine died (a lovely silver one) and I had to take Mrs Sensible’s pink one to the office. I received lots of strange looks.

  3. Many years ago I was a writer and a storyteller, and my husband forced me to learn how to use a computer, with me kicking and screaming all the way. Now I couldn’t write without one!

Now it's your turn
