  1. What exactly is Turkey Supreme? It sounds like it might be similar to the concoction that we used to make when our girls were little and we went camping called Spaghetti Surprise. Even now the girls still tell us that they were emotionally damaged beyond repair by eating Spaghetti Surprise. We didn’t think it was that bad.

    • Turkey supreme is just left over turkey in a white sauce, served with rice usually. You can cheat and use a tin of condensed chicken, or mushroom, soup as the base for the sauce! This year I added some left over ham too – delicious.

      • Yes it sounds a lot like Spaghetti Surprise. A bit of a concoction with whatever is in the pantry. I don’t think I will try it out on the girls. I don’t want to damage them any more than I already have! And we didn’t have turkey anyway…

  2. Yum – I love turkey leftovers too. Sadly, this year we had Christmas Dinner chez a French friend, who cooked ham, and the following day chez English friends, who produced steak and kidney pie – all great but not traditional.

  3. I love living on leftovers all week. Interesting meals but tasty.

  4. My mum always makes broth with the leftovers.
    Turkey sandwiches are amazing!!

  5. we had Lamb – nothing left over !!!

  7. My Beloved Sandra and I hosted family with Prime Rib this year. Delicious, but fewer leftovers. Bummer. Happy New Year to you!

  8. Funny isn’t it, how we always make too much so we can have leftovers! I’m tiring of the turkey leftovers jokes in our house, though. Next year they can do it themselves!

  9. I oove leftover turkey. Our favourite is turkey soup. We had Prime Rib and saved the bones to make soup as well.

  10. We’ve been living on ham leftovers all week. Today is grocery day, and I’m ready for a menu change!

  11. That’s one of the perks of hosting a holiday – the leftovers! Enjoy!!

  12. That turkey looks delicious. If I wasn’t a vegetarian, I’d be all over that. Happy New Year

  13. Oh yes, our family loves this too…we are major bun stuffers!

  14. What is Turkey Supreme… the name makes it sound yummy!
    Happy New Year!

  15. I ate one drummer on Christmas day night, the other the next day and all the other bits I picked off the day after that. Just neat. With salt. I found it impossible to know it was in the fridge without eating it.

  16. That looks Soooooooo Gooooooood!

  17. We don’t have leftovers in our house except for Thanksgiving and we usually make Turkey tortilla soup and/or enchiladas with them. I think next year I will try the pot pie. Happy New Year!

  18. Yum…turkey leftovers are the best…ever. πŸ™‚ Happy New Year and Happy 6WS!

  20. Yes, I’m still enjoying left-over turkey too. And ham. πŸ™‚

  21. My family have never been turkey lovers- and I am a vegetarian, so we had a boring nut roast this Xmas. ha ha. Mind you, no left overs.
