I’m certain they weren’t in bloom before I went to Scotland – I’m sure the leaves were only just beginning to appear.

Spring is on the way!  Hooray!

  1. Oooh, pretty! I haven’t seen a single flower here yet. It’s probably just as well though – the weather forecast for today is “chance of snow”, so they’d only be killed off again.

  2. The daffodils in the park have been pushing up for about ten days, but no blooms yet.

  3. What a wonderful site to return to. Only problem is that your spring means we’re going to be going into our autumn. Oh well, it’s still hot right now so I’ll simply enjoy it whilst it lasts.

  4. It is so uplifting to see the first snowdrops. I noticed a cluster of snowdrops growing in the sunshine yesterday and thought, Spring is just round the corner. 🙂

  5. Nice flowers, ours are still under the snow. I was in the UK earlier this week and it was nice and sunny. I arrived back in Italy to rain:(

  6. Oh beautiful! Not long now until the sun is shining and the birds are singing in the blossomed branches!

  7. Beautiful… we still have three to four feet of snow on the ground. Won’t see spring flowers for two more months.

  8. Spring at last! 😀
However, I’ve heard snow is set to return… 😦
    Sigh.
    Nice photos Elaine!

  9. How lovely. Autumn is on the way according to the calendar, but it’s still nice here.

  10. No spring here. It’s 0 degrees and bloody freezing!!

  11. Spring has just gone back on hold here, I think. We’ve had some bitterly cold weather the last few days and now it’s snowing again.

Now it's your turn
