GRASS RECOVERED, TIME TO CUT IT

The downside of the recent rain, which has turned our grass from crisp brown to lush green again, is that it needs to be cut. So that’s one job for today sorted out.

  1. I have to do mine but I have so little, it takes longer to get out the lawnmower than it does to cut it. Such a pain.

  2. The grass cycle is on the move.

  3. Ours needs to be cut, too. I’m thankful my husband will be taking care of it. πŸ™‚

    Have a nice Saturday.

  4. Ours needs to be cut as well – however, they are calling for ran for the next seven days…hopefully we can squeeze it in between rains? Stopping by from 6WS.

  5. I realize our grass hasn’t been cut in weeks because of the heat wave we had. We’ve been getting rain too lately so it won’t be long before it needs cutting.
Green grass IS nicer on the feet, and I’m lucky, Hubby cuts ours. πŸ™‚

  6. LOL My husband’s been cutting grass all summer. This week is the first one that we did not have any rain fall all summer. Have a great weekend.

  7. PS I am following your blog via emal. Love it. I read it regularly because I get a weekly digest. πŸ™‚

  8. Glad to say, that’s usually one of the husband’s jobs, Elaine. I always seem to bash my shins to death when I do it. πŸ™‚

  9. I love the smell of fresh mowed grass!

  10. I love the smell of fresh rain and freshly cut grass, Elaine. Freshly cut grass, on the other hand, doesn’t like me, and sends my hay fever into overdrive! We always like the things that are bad for us, don’t we?

  11. My husband still hasn’t got the lawn mower repaired! So we keep having to pay out to have it done. I hope you enjoy that job, or at least the cooler weather that comes with it.

  12. reading this just as our lawn is being cut πŸ™‚

Now it's your turn
