  8. Sounds like the perfect way to while away a rainy day! 🙂

  9. I love the way board games used to look. My mom has an old backgammon set and it is beautiful like your scrabble set!

  10. I adore the game, and still play it, even on my phone!

  11. Yes, please! I was invited to join in a game in Poland (in Polish, of course) but it proved a little too challenging. I was a keen observer though. 🙂

  12. 30 years ago when we were first married we bought a scrabble set. We played ten games. I won the first nine, and my husband won the tenth. Then he said, “Oh by the way, that was the grand final so now I’m the champion.” And he has refused to play ever since, which means that he is still the champion…in his opinion anyway!

  13. I play with Mrs Sensible and despite being Italian she still wins. The first game we played I suggested letting her use Italian words… She poo pooed the idea and wiped the floor with me.

  14. I love Scrabble and somewhere have a version that looks just. like. that. I use it at school too. 🙂

  15. I haven’t played scrabble in forever….

  16. Letters jumble and tumble into fun?
