six word saturday – food

I HAVE EATEN FAR TOO MUCH!

Having visitors is always a good excuse for meals out, coffees and indulgent cakes, and there was certainly a lot of that going on last week!  I think a week of small meals and salads is what I need now.

Happy Saturday!

time for coffee and cake

  1. Hmm, that looks like a delicious clock!

  2. You know, I read somewhere that people lose up to 3 pounds during the week, only to gain them back during weekend eating.

  3. It is fun to indulge…within reason, though!

  4. Food, friends and coffee – nothing better!

  5. And then you’ll be ready for some Easter indulgence! 🙂

  6. Oh, Elaine ~~ I hate it that you have to hold back like the rest of us. 🙂
I like your clock. Am also sorry that you can’t eat bananas anymore.
Perhaps in banana nut bread? I can’t eat nuts so you could have mine.
    ..

  7. It’s okay to indulge every now and again. But I totally understand the need for a salad filled week after feeling so stuffed 🙂

  8. I’m fasting now because My Beloved Sandra told me last night that we’re having 12-15 visitors for Easter dinner.

  9. It’s nice to have lovely meals and outings with visitors but I know how you feel. It’s all like a big sweets overload by the end. If you have salad all this week you can indulge again next weekend for Easter.

  10. Coffee and cake… how very German 😉

Now it's your turn
