  1. It rains at weekends so that the cricket is called off and your family come home, laden down with all the cakes you made the day before for the cricket tea! That’s what I think anyway! 🙂

  2. We here in the desert would be happy to have some your rain, weekend or not! 🙂

  3. Because it can. I used to get so irritated about the weather until one weekend when it DID NOT rain my youngest son said to me ” Are you happy because it’s a sunny day?” That taught me a huge lesson. Now I am happy because it’s a new day! Cheers!

  4. So true. Another one they can’t seem to solve is a helpful hearing aid. It’s uber-wet here today, too.

  5. Aw shucks, we’re having a rainy day too….as long as I’m inside I don’t mind, though ^_^

  6. And you wanted to get out walking! 🙂

  8. Love the cartoon! Western Washington(Seattle) is known for it’s rain, if we waited for it to not rain we would never do anything! 🙂

  9. It has been said by someone–I don’t know who–that into every life a little rain must fall. They didn’t say anything about why on Saturdays.

  10. So sorry you had a rainy weekend! We had lovely weather – it wasn’t even as warm as it probably should’ve been. But typically the better weather DOES seem to happen during the week. It just doesn’t seem fair! Thanks for playing 6WS!

Now it's your turn
