weekly photo challenge: afloat

After the winter break, the steamship Sir Walter Scott is almost ready for the new season when it will provide ferry services and pleasure cruises on Loch Katrine.  The Sir Walter Scott, built in 1989,  is a major tourist attraction in the area, and is named after Scotland’s famous poet Sir Walter Scott who set his 1810 poem, The Lady of the Lake, and his 1818 novel, Rob Roy, around the the loch.
