I used to be indecisive…

…but now I'm not so sure

Five Photos, Five Stories #4

I’ve been invited to take part in the “Five Photos, Five Stories” challenge by Jude of Travel Words. The challenge is quite simply to “post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”.

Here’s my fourth photo

bayoutreesThese moss-draped cypress trees are in the Honey Island Swamp, Louisiana.  It looks out of focus, but I promise you it is not! We took a swamp tour when we were in New Orleans, and it was so peaceful, drifting slowly along the bayous in amongst the trees.  If you need an hour or so to relax and de-stress then I recommend it.

My nomination today is KiwiDutch at Local Heart, Local Soul.   There’s no obligation to join in, it’s just if you fancy it.

  1. Such a beautiful and calming image, Elaine . 🙂

  2. A bit spooky, these trees, like something that might reach out and grab people in a horror movie. Or am I just being strange?

  3. It’s more like a painting than a photo! I love it, Elaine 🙂 Excellent for an ‘abstract’ challenge 🙂

  4. Such an ‘arty’ photo. I had to look twice at it! Interesting that the reflection is bluer than the actual sky.

Now it's your turn
