We celebrated the end of the school year (very nearly) yesterday evening with a BBQ and lots of laughs.

Snoopy is still celebrating summer…

  1. Roll on the end of term! BBQ sounds lovely!! Perfect weather too. We’re at a local pub for our annual end of year quiz which is highly competitive! Happy summer! xx

    Ps Love Snoopy!

  2. It’s the laughs that are most important!

  3. Happy end of school year, Elaine! They come around quick now, don’t they?

  4. We’ve been out for a while now. I had some time off, but–like an idiot–I signed myself up for summer school. Just finished week #1. It’s only 4 hours/day, 4days/week for 4 weeks. and it’s pretty laid back. I suppose I can survive.

  5. Hahaha… gotta to love Snoopy! “The world’s best lawn sprinkler runner-througher” I talk like that, much to my OH’s amusement πŸ™‚
Have a good weekend Elaine and Happy Holidays – let the sun shine πŸ™‚

  6. I bet he is, too! πŸ™‚ Sticky here so it’s not a bad idea. The young Venezuelan put up a good fight, didn’t she?
Lots of holidays for all that dusting and stuff πŸ™‚

  7. We ended ours yesterday and we all went for a curry! After a couple of weeks I always begin to miss the kids – you can’t play with adults the way you can with them!

    • Going out for curries, or other restaurant meals, has been done in the past, but the last couple of years the end of year celebration has been a BBQ held in the school grounds which everyone has voted as their favourite get-together. I am not planning to miss the children at all over the summer. πŸ˜‰

  8. BBQ, laughing and snoopy make for a good time!

  9. thanks for the smiles!

  10. Poor Snoopy! Happy Holidays to you!

  11. Good ol’ Snoopy! My kids are missing out on Peanuts!

Now it's your turn
