I used to be indecisive…

gold post box

I took this photo nearly three years ago and forgot all about it until Jude at Travel Words posted a great selection of photos of post boxes recently, including one of a gold one which was painted in honour of a British athlete who had won a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics.  All over Great Britain, gold post boxes appeared in the home towns of the gold medal winning athletes.

I caught this gold one in the process of being painted.  It is in Watford, and is in honour of the boxer Anthony Joshua who won gold in the Super Heavyweight category.
