  1. Oh, my gosh! My husband and I are laughing aloud reading this. We live in a 110 year old farmhouse, and even with updating the electricity we still blow fuses. This could easily be us…that is why we are cracking up. Buddy says he is Snoopy, and I am Linus. hehehe

  2. So much to prepare for!

    Not all sorrows

  3. Got to be the clock radio, Elaine! Thanks for being so gracious about six words. I hope it doesn’t stop people visiting. Did you input yours again? I haven’t been back to Cate’s page to check- just followed your comment. I haven’t started prep yet but it’s creeping up on me 😦

    • Yes, it would have to be the clock radio for me too! Yes, I listed it again, with a note saying it was the correct link. 🙂 I have begun a bit of the preparations, and am really hoping that it won’t be panic stations at the last minute this year, which it sometimes turns out to be.

  4. Work gets in the way of Christmas prep, doesn’t it. Good thing you started now.

  5. Hope you have fun with the prep! Love the cartoon!

  6. TV, Usually rubbish over Christmas. Are you having lots of visitors Elaine?

  7. This year we seem to have more parties than usual, but I’m going to them all and enjoying them very much. My sister and I planned our Christmas Day menu this morning and we’re going to try some different recipes.

    • I have only one or two Christmas parties/events to attend this year, but I am quite happy about that – there is only so much Christmas fare that I can eat. It’s exciting to try out new recipes, I think. Our Christmas Day menu is so traditional (family tradition rather than ‘traditional’) that I can just pull out last year’s shopping list!

  8. Thanks. So beautifully spare. I would always keep tne radio over the TV – letting in much more warmth and mystery. Hope all up your preparations are going well. Regards Thom.

Now it's your turn
