For the month of March Jude has asked us to share close up/macro photos.

Here is a blue iris photographed after a shower of rain.

If you haven’t seen Jude’s blog about all things flowery, planty and garden designy then I urge you to go and have a look at The Earth Laughs in Flowers and enjoy her wonderful photography.

  1. Such a magical close-up, Elaine. Beautiful. 🙂

  2. I love close-ups with raindrops, Elaine… everything seems more fresher somehow!

  3. Oh thank you for the lovely shout out Elaine and the gorgeous iris, I am very fond of irises especially blue ones and they always look so much better after a shower. You have captured this one perfectly 🙂

  4. I wish the blue irises lasted a bit longer (as opposed to their leaves which seem to last for ever!) and I could have more chances to perfect my photo taking.

Now it's your turn
