I am very proud of this echinacea plant because I grew it from seed.  I think the flowers are quite striking, and there is the added bonus of them lasting a long time.

  1. Great shot…

  2. How very interesting! I’ve never even thought about what an Echinacea plant would look like. Did I even know it was a plant? I’ve heard of the medicinal pills, of course, but really never took it that step further to think where they originated from. Very cool!

  3. Ah, the hedgehog plant. I love them too! And well done for growing it from seed. Maybe I’ll give that a go. They do last for ages and they are lovely.

  4. Lovely photos, Elaine. Interesting to see Jude call it a hedgehog plant. In Australia they are also called cone flowers. Echinacea is very good for you. Maybe you should harvest them. I don’t know what you do with them, but I’m sure you could Google it.

  5. How lovely it is! Well done, Elaine. Great shots too. 🙂

  6. Really, truly fabulous shots, Elaine, whether luck or modesty 🙂 🙂

Now it's your turn
