I used to be indecisive…

…but now I'm not so sure

Friday letters – the square photo #9 edition

Dear Friday,  Well hello, fancy meeting you so soon after last Friday – you seem to have come round again very quickly.

Dear removal company,  Thank you for getting our household effects here safely.  I am so glad that the container did not fall off the ship and that everything survived in one piece. It was great to be reunited with everything yesterday and to sit on our own furniture again.  There are still lots of boxes full of kitchen equipment, books, ornaments and china to be unwrapped, so guess what I will be spending my day doing today?

Dear new neighbour,  It was very thoughtful of you to call round yesterday and bring us some home baked goodies to help us keep our energy levels up for the unpacking.  Thank you very much.

Dear rabbit,  You thought I wouldn’t spot you hiding near the garden gate didn’t you?  You should have made sure you sat still and didn’t make a rustling sound and you might have got away with it.  I have to say that your tail looked rather magnificent when you rushed away over the grass.  However, nice as it was to see you, I hope you are not considering digging any holes in the garden.

Dear Becky,  Here is today’s square photo.

  1. Hi Elaine! These Fridays do come around often, don’t they? The rabbit was just welcoming you, I’m sure – he’ll probably be digging his holes elsewhere. And today you have a photo of long circles! Nice one! 😁
    Happy Friday!

  2. What a lovely wood pile. Could do with some of those logs over here please. Happy unpacking!

  3. Glad to hear your belongings didn’t end up at the bottom of the Atlantic, that must indeed be a relief. Nice photo for the squares/circles challenge.

  4. Dear Elaine what lovely new neighbours you have, and I am in awe that you have posted as well as moved this week.

  5. So happy to hear everything arrived unscathed and you can now set up your new home with all your favourite belongings. And how nice to know you have welcoming neighbours who can bake! That’s well worth knowing. 🙂

  6. Two for one! Any cookies left? I need cheering up again. The rain is dripping down my neck. 🙂 🙂

  7. I’m so happy you are successfully reunited with your household goods and that you’re settling in nicely, Elaine! It was so nice of your neighbor to welcome you with goodies!

Now it's your turn - what would you like to say?
